Greetings Everyone!

I know some of you have been waiting a long time for this announcement, but it's finally here. Gentle Yoga Vols. 1, 2 & 3 are now available on DVD!

I know it might seem strange that it took so long, but I kind of thought this DVD thing was a fluke. But then your requests made it clear to me that I was forgetting something really huge that is going on in this world and that's the digital divide. Living in New York City I take for granted that everyone has high speed internet or want to do everything on their computer and that's just not the case.  It's amazing to me what the powers that be are serving the masses in terms of what "everyone" has or should have, and that is totally not the reality.

I have been so blessed to meet people from all over the world who have seen my videos on YouTube and use Gentle Yoga Vol. 1 regularly, but I met women come from Wisconsin who was visiting her daughter in Brooklyn. She stopped by the studio where I teach to say hello and thank you as she has a copy of Vol. 1!

I'm excited to be able to offer this to you. Please see the link under the pictures above and below, or see the box on the right of this blog to purchase the DVD!  I'm also excited to let you know that we also just shot Vol. 4. Hopefully it won't take as long to get into the world, but please be patient.

  3. I session 2 on the DVD the same sound track as what is online? The music overwhelms the instructions online and I am hesitant to buy without the assurance the sound track is different. I love session 1, and just learned about session 3. Eager to try it! Thanks.

      Thank you for your interest in the DVD. I believe the volume is the same on the DVD as it is on YouTube, but I must admit that I'm not totally sure. I'm just assuming it's the same since that is where we sourced the material for the DVD. Sadly we don't offer the volumes separately. You have to get 1, 2 & 3 at this time as a bundle. I hope you will still consider making the purchase. I will keep the levels in mind as we move on to Vol. 4. Thank you again for your support!

  5. I fell in love with your Gentle Yoga video on YouTube yesterday. At 63, I am getting back into yoga after many years away. After using a number of "beginner " yoga videos on YouTube over the past month,and experiencing something in each that was way too tough (to the point of feeling dangerous--luckily I know how to modify poses), I was so happy to find your guidance. Your presence and soothing voice are wonderful.

  6. Thank you so much for doing the Gentle Yoga mat project on You Tube. I have 'tried' to do yoga several times and never could manage it. I found your Gentle Yoga on you Tube last week and have been doing yoga each day. In just one week, I am noticing my spine and my joints seem more flexible, with less aches and pains. I'm 55 and am ready to take some responsibility for my health~ inside and out! Thank you Shelly. I have just ordered the DVD's as my internet keeps freezing. Thanks again. Any chance of you coming to Seattle to do a class or workshop?
